Shiny New Gadget Of The Month
Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 7000
This product is, by no means, a new gadget. The natural keyboard and mouse have been in the market for years, but it is surprising to see not many people know about it.
I own the old wired 4000 model, with customizable hot keys, a zoom button, and an integrated palm rest. It's a fixed-split keyboard, and your hands are angled left to right just a tad while typing. It does take some time to adjust to it, but I swear that my wrists and hands haven't ached since I started using it.
The newer model, the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000, is wireless (2.4 GHz) and comes with an LED battery life indicator, four-way scrolling, a magnifier, and an ergonomic laser mouse.
The ergonomic keyboard design, complete with contoured angles and soft wrist area, promote natural typing position for hand, wrist and forearm, and protect everyday computer users from injury from repetitive stress .
Accompanying the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 keyboard, the wireless ergonomic mouse also alleviates strain on hands with its advanced shape, keeping your wrist at a neutral position while surfing or using computer programs.
